Summer Sunset Couple, Love Lifestyle | A+U

Wow, what a brilliant day yesterday was! Friends, sunshine and cameras – nothing could spoil it 😉

Myself and my very good friends Ugis Naglins  and his wife Anda Naglina  decided to do a photoshoot of them. They tow are amazingly talented photographers. In fact - this was the very first time for them to be on a Couples shoot! So yesterday, we met up so that we can scout locations for the beautiful shoot.

I am so lucky to be photographing them two - Ugis and Anda who are the nicest and easily the coolest couple you could ever meet! Ugis is an amazing wedding photographer in his own right and Anda is newborn, family and couples photographer so I knew the pressure was on.🙂

For now though, here are some of my favourite photographs from yesterday’s Couples shoot:

On a separate note - I’m just going to say about my favourite and in my opinion the best location in Ireland for a Couples Shoot an engagement shoot or elopement. It’s also my most popular location with visitors to Ireland – Wicklow. Otherwise known as ‘The Garden of Ireland‘ Wicklow is located just outside of Dublin.

Regardless of the weather, the scenery here is beautiful so it doesn’t matter if it is cloudy skies, wet or bright and sunny. It is the best location in Ireland for a Couples shoot an engagement shoot or elopement, it will always work…!

Causeway Cliffs Couple Shoot | T+M

Location: Irish Cliffs

Couple Shoot of two beautiful people at Portmuck Harbour in NI. The day was windy and there was lots of signs of rain coming. Best part of it all - is that wind and cliff side photoshoots tend to add a different dynamic to the photos. Those photos look like frozen motion. The hair, the clothes - everything is captured in a motion.

Theme: Love

Perfect emotions - this is adding to the overall feel of the photos. I always like to shoot portrait photographs in the evening if possible. This couple shoot we organised to be at 4:30pm in beginning of March. The light at this time and that time of the year is perfect for the mood.

Weather: Rain, Wind, Early Evening

We were so lucky and did not have too much rain. It was only lashing when we were finished :)

Tip: One of the best things you could do with your loved other half is to organise a shoot to capture your emotions, your love. Those photos will be timeless for you and will greatly fill a picture frame. Great idea if you are looking for a special gift idea for her/him. They will truly appreciate this :)

Malahide Castle Engagement Photography | M+R

Engagement Shoot

Engagement photos at Malahide Castle was organised in a bit of a hurry. Overly happy couple, Matea and Rory were looking forward to the shoot- so was I!

For the best light for the best mood, we decided to have our shoot after 6pm, which was so good! Sunset photos always have a special feel to them. This is by far my favourite time for photographing Engagements, Couples.

TIP: If you normally don't feel comfortable in front of the camera, having an Engagement shoot done is actually a good idea. Ahead of the big day - this will help you to relax. For you also to realise that it is not scary after all and I do not like to make people uncomfortable and unnatural in front of the camera.

Summer Sunset Engagement Photography Ireland Dublin

Engagement Photography, Sunset, Champagne | K+D

Engagement, Proposal Photography

Sunset, Champagne, Love - perfect combination

Engagement photo ideas -popping bottle, bikes, love, proposal, sunset, summer. . . I mean - how much more perfect such a moment can be! As a photographer, they were dream couple to work with!

Kristine and Dominik were an absolute dream to photograph. They are such a fun and massively loved-up couple, all I had to do was leave them to it and point my camera in their direction. Thank you- this is perfect!

I always like to shoot engagement photographs in the evening if possible. The couple- Kristine's and Dominik's engagement photography at the park is exactly the reason for that – beautiful light. Light is king, as I love to say :)

There are many locations that are suitable for beautiful Engagement or a Couples shoot but one thing that dictates the mood is always light.

Thank you again to both of you and I look forward to seeing you both again soon!
